Brewhouse is in working order.
Special thanks to Darren and Sean for giving up their sunday afternoon to clean up.
As a note:
We have about 20 kegs that need to be taken home. We've left them piled up in the brewhouse, but please come by and pick up your stuff as soon as possible so it doesn't get lost.
You guys are awesome! Thanks for getting everything cleaned and in order!
Thanks so much guys!
I'm not sure what's up with the water heater. We couldn't get consistent hot water today - like only a few minutes and gone for an 1/2 hour. Made it really hard to clean greasy chili pots. We had to boil water to clean shit. Something to keep an eye on.
For the Harvest Fest, I came in the next day to do clean up and getting things back in shape and that is tough work - thank you James, Darren and Sean!

Yeah, thanks a lot for taking care of that, guys. The party was a great success and this part of the party is just as valued and appreciated!
Is the fridge we used to ferment lagers in broken? Two of hte doors were un-attached and it wasn't plugged in. I was planning on making a few lagers this week
Adam, it works. The doors just need to be reattached.
Thanks for getting us back up and running, I'm sorry I couldn't be there. The worst part of any party is the day after.
Adam, the fridge should be in working order. Given the amount of movement and the wetness of the party day, we decided to give it 24 hours to set before plugging it back in.
Gotcha. Just wanna plan out starters. I'll probably clean up a bit more tomorrow night as I think it needs a bit more tidying up
While I was mashing tonight, I did another once-over and cleand up a few things. One thing I noticed is that there were a lot of scuff marks on the new wainscoting -- I gave them a wipe down with a wet cloth and they cleaned right up, and I think this would be a good thing to have our new cleaning crew do regularly. It's high quality paint so if we keep up with it, the scuffs will continue to wipe right off.
Also took a scrub brush to the outside of the keezer, shined up the bar taps tower, wiped down the speaker/reciever and fridges, scrubbed the counterflow chiller so it doesn't look so scary, and fixed the dead wheel on it. She rolls like a Cadillac now, boys and girls!

Thanks, Matt!
Fantastic, Matt!

While yes, my schedule did not allow for me to assist cleaning up on the Sunday post-SCN, and I truly appreciate those that did come out to help, I feel that I may have markedly different thoughts on "Brewhouse is ready to go."
I came in Saturday morning to keg up a few beers and was met with having to meander through a hallway of tarps and tents, mud filled buckets everywhere, one whole brewing station (#1) still taken up by various bowls and cooking implements, dirty taps dumped in tubs we use for sanitzer and cleaners, and a lagering fridge that still wasn't operational. This was a whole week after the party.
I think we should address this next meeting or two to really drive volunteers for this portion of the event as well as establish a set of guidelines/checks that really designate "brewhouse ready."
Also I'd REALLY like to get my pilsner going so if ANYone knows how to fix that fridge and get it back to 50F id sincerely appreciate it. I tried figuring it out but im pretty sure I'd break the fridge first
Adam, It just needed to be plugged in - its cranking away now.
