I was thinking the other day - what is the temperature (roughly) of the large fridge & the smaller one? They're different, correct? Also, how is this reservation system going to work with people that just want to cold crash their beers?
I believe the lager fermentation fridge is set to 50 degrees and the lagering chamber is set to 35. For cold crashing, just make a reservation for the amount of time you plan to cold crash.
So these reservations are just for the smaller 50 degree fridge. Not the larger, 35 degree fridge, right?
Yea I guess I'm confused about this as well. I threw my Kolsch in the larger fridge yesterday, but I'm not sure if I made the reservation in the correct fridge (I put it in the large fridge, left side).
Could you label the spreadsheet with LARGE and SMALL fridge for us lager newbies?
The small fridge is primary and large fridge is conditioning. I've added that to the spread sheet.
I think there also may be some confusion of the larg(er) fridge behind the bar that is also set to ~48F for fermenting lagers. I signed up a few weeks ago and it looked like it would be full, but the smaller/shorter fridge was practically empty and the one behind the bar held most of the reservations, it seemed.
The one behind the bar isn't on the spreadsheet. For now we're using it as a primary, but that may change once it's set up to serve beer from the taps.

If you set up a Google Drive, it will automatically be located there once you open it, and you won't have to go back searching for it on the CHAOS site. Same with the Quarterly Party sheets.
