I've noticed the past couple of times I've brewed that our sweet thermometer is giving crazy readings (from -25F to 220F), but it's usually came back to normal. Today, not so much.
I noticed some very small kinks in the yellow cord that connects the probe to the main body. Perhaps that's the cause?

Hey Brandon. Try double checking that the metal thingie is fully attacked to the yellow box. A loose connection was giving me a wonky reading a little while ago
I tried to disconnect, then reconnect it again thinking the connection wasn't secure. Still no dice. Would like to know how it works for the next person who brews. Might have been user error!
