Last night, I had a surreal brewhouse dream and I'm hoping someone can help me analyze it:
I open the garage door, and there is an erie, blue light, in a kind of semi-circle coming from the back, in the bar. For some reason, this neither bothered or puzzled me. I flipped on the lights and was shocked to see that only three fermenters were left in the fermenter storage shelves. The empty shelves seemed to go on forever.
I began to search for the fermenters, opened the ferm room door, and a cascade of fermenters full of beer came crashing down and out of the room, knocking me over and waking me from the dream.
Calling Dr. Freud . . . .
The fear of running out of beer... And the fear of beer consuming you...
Don't worry, it's a dance we all tread lightly on.

Time to lay off the mushrooms, Jim....
It means you want to sleep with your monther. Or something about cigars and buttholes.
Frued was proponent of wish fullfillment when it comes to dreams (actually, he's the founder of it), which makes a lot sense. We dream what we want to keep us asleep. Ever dreamt you were getting ready for work/school because you didn't want to get up? Wish fulfillment. That doesn't mean we always dream fun things. Sometimes what we really want is to confront things in our life we've been avoiding.
Hard to pull out the meaning here; how did you feel about the situation? If you woke up I'm guessing pretty overwhelmed/anxious/possibly afraid.
Only you can say what really resonates with those symbols, but the lack of fermenters might point at a wish that the brew club was a little tidier and more under control. Or that you feel disconnected from the membership (an "oh god where did everyone go!?" moment). The beers crashing down on you--ever feel like the club or brewing or drinking is too overwhelming? That there are things that need to be dealt with there that you have put off?
Idk. I think freud would be fine with the above guesses. He was all about what the dream meant to you; so only you can say. Good luck!
Sometime a beer is just a beer....

If you had said all the fermenters had Kris's name on them....
