Hi CHAOS! We have our monthly board and general membership meeting tomorrow and we will be discussing what to do with the upstairs space. This may be the single most important decision that will affect the direction of our club. I have no doubt it will be handled with spirited and respectful debate, with the assistance of our favorite conversational lubricant, beer. I'll bring my latest lacto concoction, Sour Puss. General Membership meeting starts at 4:30pm, well after the Bears have demolished the Texans. Hope to see you all there!!

Conversation about the upstairs
Ladies and Gentlemen -
CHAOS is growing....
Last weekend the membership voiced support and the board voted to take the upstairs, with the understanding that we get Beer the Band on board for taking a room for $500 as a practice space. Last night Beer the Band came and took a final visit, and today they approved it. I spoke with our new landlord and everything is a go. Beer the band will be moving some stuff in over the weekend. CHAOS may also move some items upstairs, however the new lease is not signed, we're still on a handshake. Please do not lock the upstairs, we do not have keys. Members that haven't seen it may go upstairs to take a look. We will have the areas painted white, they will wall off the brown room.
Now that it's real, I'd like a working group on how to best use the space - volunteers?

Mark, I volunteered for this when you first asked and am still up for putting in some time to make the upstairs
greatnot look it was inhabited by a crazy person again.Aw hell yeah, right on! I can't do much to much to help up there but I can come provide moral support and probably do gofer duties.
I would gladly give my helping hand to get the space up to what we want it to look like. Getting hitched on the 23rd, but after that I am free to lend some brut strength.
Wes, are you still alive? I know your wife said you couldn't brew until you finished a bathroom in your basement... It's been 4 months. Time to wrap up that project and slay this upstairs! J/k... But could get you out again.

There were a lot of great ideas for how to use the upstairs space. I would be on board to help plan out the space utilization and work with Jeff to come up with the pricing plan for our members to rent storage space. I'm not super handy on my own, but with some direction and some light supervision, I could also help with the build out.
