Now that I have your attention, here's the catch:
We have three free entries to the evening Hoptacular session for club members to pour our soon to be award winning beer entry at a CHAOS booth. James will be there, so we need two more volunteers to help out. You get in for free and can certainly take turns representing the club and walking around the festival.
Hoptacular is Saturday, November 5th. The evening session is 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm.

What exactly is the format for Saturday? There are 2 sessions on Saturday, and we are pouring on the late session. Do we also get to go for the early session with these free entries?
Also, we can provide our own equipment, but what exactly do we need to bring?
The comp tickets are only for the second session, during which we'll be pouring and accepting our award for first place. There will be some kind of will call there, which is where you guys can go to check in.
I'm confirming what exactly we have to bring. The email just says we're given a table and chairs, so I assume gas and a jockey box will be necessary. I'll let you know what they say.

I would assume that we check in around 6-6:30... james, can you go thru the jockey box on Friday night?
I plan on being at the brewhouse in the A.M. but am hitting the Co-Pro for a party at 4 then being at the brewhouse around 6. I have my own co2 and regulator. Just need the keg, jockey box and banner ready when I show up at 6.

Hi guys, just got this email from Hoptacular with all the logistics info you will need for Saturday:
Hello, everyone!
This is the final email before the big event this Saturday. Here are answers to the many questions I've been receiving, and then some:
1). Every club's beer was received in good condition and is logged in for judging on Saturday morning.
2). Each club that submitted an entry will receive 2 complimentary tickets to the AFTERNOON session (Session I will run from 1:00p to 4:00p). This is also when the competition winners will be announced. Each club can pick up these tickets at "Will Call" at the venue (sorry, but I am unable to tell you where that will be located; I'm sure it won't be hard to find). The name of your club is the only information that is needed to get the tickets.
3). Clubs that are also volunteering to pour their homebrew at the event will receive a 3rd complimentary ticket along with the first two. Questions about where you will be located within the venue should be directed to event staff. Each club must be responsible for their own dispensing equipment; ice will be provided.
4). The announcement of the winners will probably take place between 2:00 and 3:00pm
5). The venue is located here (see below). Sorry, I'm unable to help with parking suggestions.

I will be cleaning a jockey box out today and will also be prepping the equipment we will be taking over to the event.
Jeff, some info you posted seems to be at odds with what you had told us before, if I'm not mistaken. Our complimentary tickets are for the early session, but does that mean that we will be drinking from 1-4 and then pouring from 7-10?
James, it seems we get 3 tickets for the afternoon session becuase we are pouring in the evening session.
I might bring my air mattress to crash on upstairs between sessions...
Oh, crap!! I fucked up. You're correct James, all three passes are for the afternoon session, which is also when we will be pouring. I hope this doesn't mess up anyone's plans!
I'll be there in the afternoon, so can help out if needed.
