Was trying to get into the brew house today 3/1 and the garage door was only opening 3-4 inches. It would start opening up, stop and then close again. I don't know if it was stuck on something or it was some other issue. I tried it 5-6 times all with the same results. I tried looking under the door and couldn't see anything it was hung up on...
Has anyone else had this happen or am I just missing something and being a boob?
Were you hitting the # sign after the numbers? This exact scenario happened to me until I realized what I was doing.
It happened to me yesterday, I've never had to hit # before. Hmm
Oh yeah, sorry should've been more clear. Hitting the # was causing my issue. Soon as I stopped the door would finally open all the way.
I think I may have been pressing the # at least a portion of the time. Can't say for sure if I did every time I tried to get in though. Hopefully that is the extent of the problem.
Yeah something about putting in a bunch of numbers on a keypad makes me feel like i need to hit # at the end of it.

The door is stuck open like a foot....and the code doesn't do anything
It was struggling a little bit last night when I left around 6:30-7:00pm. But I gave it a little assistance with my hands to push it up and it seemed to work fine. Afterwards I was able to close and open it again without any assistance so I thought nothing of it. It could be a more serious issue than the keypad since I was using the button inside the garage

I picked up a key from Mark and we got in and tries to fix the garage door, but I think we may need our neighbors RPM to fix it
Here's how we tested it...
It only lifts about a foot when you pres the button, so we pulled the release cord and raised it by hand, and then pushed the button so the traveler could catch up with the door receiver after that tthe button made the whole door go the rest of the way up and down but once down it only raises up a foot again
Also I think the pad needs to be reprogrammed
I'm here now and the code I sent not working
John key is in battery compartment of the keypad
RPM is goin to fix keypad
Shit, already left. Thanks anyway, Reed. And thanks to you and everyone else for helping fix this issue
Sorry I wasn't quick enough....
Not all me, this morning Mark adjusted the garage door force so that it opens, and reached out to RPM about getting the keypad replaced
Keypad is just a Amazon purchase: https://www.amazon.com/Chamberlain-KLIK2U-Clicker-Universal-Garage/dp/B0...
I think that the RPM guys will probably find some other things wrong with that door. They have replaced things for us in the past for free, but they always made comments about Chip not maintaining of the garage doors well. I know that they completely replaced Reed's door about a year ago.
edit: The Keypad we currently own, I replaced that in January of 2015 for some additional context.
Soooo... is it working now or no?
I'll check it out on my way home, but it should be working.
I can confirm that the garage door does indeed work! Thanks guys for making this happen.
