For those of you who missed the event page, our own Reed has arranged for us a private tour of the Goose Island Barrel Warehouse with Reed, a brewer and barrel master at Goose Island. Reed will talk us through the process of transporting beer to the warehouse (oopsie daisy), then the process of filling, monitoring, blending, and packaging the products for sale. Plus he will likely talk about some of the experiments that Goose is doing with barrels.
For those of you who didn't get to do this last year, it was a very special and very intense experience that is only really available to members of clubs such as ours.

Oh my oh my oh my! I missed this last year and was intensely saddened that I did. I will NOT miss it this year! Very excited about this.
On Sunday at noon we'll meet Reed from Goose at Sacramento & Ohio ( 603 N Sacramento Blvd - https://goo.gl/2HzxUK )
Once we gather, we will have a couple beers in the office then start the tour, we have technically 2 hours but we can take more time if needed. Aftet that we'll all head back to goose island tap room at Fulton & Wood
If people want to get Brunch first, how does Whisk ( Chicago & Damen ) at 10AM Sound
I was already planning to stop by Whisk on the way there, so am game for that.
I'm going to uber from bridgeport if anyone in this area wants to jump in on an uber
Whisk sounds like a plan. Steak and eggs FTW!
The emperor is not as forgiving as i am
If anyone is driving and wants to pick me up from the brewhose on the way to barrel house that'd be swell.
If not I'll just catch a lyft. Cheers

Aj, I am probably going to park at the brewhouse in a bit and walk up to the warehouse if you wanna join me. Or we could split cost on a lift.
I'm at the brewhouse going to walk from here
Right on, just need to put some yeast and I'll be good to go
Locking door and starting tour at 12:30
After the customary month of mourning, I am now ready to hear about this tour.
Based on how much fun this was last time around, I'm sure you all had a blast!
