Upstairs door is locked

The door to upstairs is locked. Is there a key downstairs to open it?

This happened to me a couple

This happened to me a couple weeks ago and luckily Jeff was already there. Any idea why it's being locked?

The handle on the door does

The handle on the door does not have anyway to unlock it.  There is no button on the inside to release the locking  mechanism.

The emperor is not as forgiving as i am

The door can be unlocked with the key. I don't think it's locked anymore....
