I don't have quick pay. I'll either get it (seems like I'm behind on this one), or leave you a check hidden somewhere at the club. Thanks man! Super stoked. If you don't mind the company maybe message when you're filling it. Might be cool to make a video for the youtube page.
So, do we all fill it on the same day? Or do we just gradually come in and fill it individually once the barrel is in the clubhouse? I'm guessing you'd rather not have 15 people constantly opening and closing the barrel no?
Since I'll be long gone before this barrel is emptied, please serve my share at a party or something. And, if someone is feeling generous and wants to fill a few bottles so I can grab them the next time I'm in town, I will forever be greatful.
Ok everyone its time for this barrel to be emptied. The day will be Sunday 7/23/2017 @ approx. 11:30-12:00. Preferably be there to help with a clean keg. Or have your keg or carboy cleaned sitting next the barrel ready to go. If it is not you will miss your share.
Count me in on the next. I'll be there Sunday to help too.
Also, I'd be willing to flavor and carb one of the orphan batches if needed. Might even be willing to bottle off a few bombers to send to Bill's undeserving ass if he wants to cover the shipping
So unfortunately can't keep 5 gallons of beer around the apartment anymore, so I'm donating my share to the club. That being said if anyone was willing to fill up a bomber or two for me i'd appreciate getting to take at least take home a bottle or two.
Hell yeah, totally forgot about this bad boy! I am available to help that Sunday and down for the next barrrel project! I'm not sure if I have a spare keg, but if I can borrow someone's, I am willing to carb and bottle Brock's batch. And mail him some of his deserving work!
Aw hell yeah, thanks John! I was going to say, maybe someone could bottle up my share (without vanilla) and distribute it to the other brewers to serve as a control, to compare against the other variations. And if a bottle or two makes its way to Seattle, I'll owe you big time :-)
Sweet. So AJ or Jay, is your spare keg clean and ready to go? If not, I'm cleaning three kegs next week (hopefully Wednesday) so if you can get it to the brewhouse by then I'll clean it. And I'll carb and bottle off Brock's batch with no additions, as the control.
my extra keg should be full of starsan in the keg pit (or whatever the name is for all the kegs between ferm room and garage door. Looks like a keg, has "Jacobs" written on ductape around the middle.
I'll try and swing by this week and put it by the barrels (and confirm it is full of star san)
AJ, Kyle is the new club barrel coordinator/barrelmeister, if you contact him he might know if there are any new barrel projects starting up, also. I'm organizing two barrel projects right now and intentionally invited CHAOSers who had not had the opportunity to do a barrel project with the club before. We've got enough room to do more projects, if there's enough folks interested and someone willing to secure and organize the barrel.
Hey guys, we had some extra that is in a partial batch in one of my kegs from this. Does anyone have any objections to my bottling off some of this to be served at the CHAOS booth at Great Lakes Beer Fest? I can then bottle and distribute whatever is left or set it aside for Stout Night or the Fall party.
Just an idea, feel free to post or PM me if anyone objects.
Sounds good to me! I'm going to be creating a separate post, but CHAOS will be pouring at the home brew section of a beer fest at the end of September. (Actually, we will be the home brew section.) Maybe we can use the remainder there?
This will be a Bourbon Barrel This time. Yippie.
Cost is 300/12= $25 Each.
Kindly pay me ASAP. Best way is Chase Quick pay: josh.smith20@gmail.com

Someone already taking care of Brock & Canuck on this, if not i've got a spare keg or two.

Adam, I have a spare keg I can fill for the club and we will fill a bottle for you.

Did I brew for this? I can't remember.
Maybe for the club batches, buy some of that Vanilla bean paste from Nielsen Massey? Not sure if anyone has tried it...

I've got a keg free if someone still needs a spare for their club donation of deliciousness.
I have a pint glass free for donations.
I'd be willing to pay for shipping Rich for say 4 bombers.

Maybe we can use Brock or Bill's batch for BrewBQ? It would be cool to have one of our barrel beers on tap for it.
Like I said I will give up my batch (less 4 bombers) to the club to do with as you please. I meant to mention brew b q.
The emperor is not as forgiving as i am
Yeah, I was thinking keg one for BrewBQ, then bottle the other batch for shipping to you and Brock.
I should have a clean keg sitting in my storage space. Top shelf middle of the room.
Yeah, I wasn't planning on pocketing the rest Jeff.....
I'm in for the next barrel mm that I will forget about in a year...

I'd also be in if there is room.
I can't make it next Sunday, so will have a carboy ready. I also have vanilla extract I can share with people, contact me separately.
I'm in for the next barrel if you're currently taking names.
^ agreed, i'd love to get in on a barrel project next time a slot opens up

Nevermind, someone came forward with a more fun solution
