Hey all, judging from this thread there is interest in starting another CHAOS fantasy football league. If we can get enough people signed up and in we can have an even better totally more awesome league than theirs. I'll gladly be commish if we can get it going. So who's in? When is the draft?
Good question! What times work best for everyone? I wanted to do a small get together where we draft in person at the brew house but my schedule on weekends is tough. Can anyone do after work during the week of the August 28th-31st? Draft starts at 6:30. We have a few brews, draft, and laugh at all of Rich's terrible picks.
You guys should've received an email to join. Looks like most already have. I need Ben R., Kyle and Steve to accept the invites still. Check your emails foo.
I am only here 28-29th that week, but could do it then. I like to start with complete shit, and then build it into a marginally inconsistent team that just misses the play-offs..
Also, how do we pay you? Quick Pay?

Don't know if I can swing the week of 8/28 but will try to make something work. I onlly skimmed the thread; will the in-person draft be at the brewhouse?
Yeah we'll do the draft at the brewhouse. If you can't make it out to the brewhouse that night you can always just draft online or ESPN also has a pretty good draftcast system that you can do on your phone as well. And then the dreaded "Auto Draft", should you be totally indisposed on the day of the draft.
So I'm feeling the 28th or 29th at 6:30. Anyone else have any strong opinions on the matter? If not, we'll go ahead and schedule it.

Yep scoring method is set. It's a custom PPR league with 1pt per reception and then some added scoring for players that achieve milestone marks(like rushing/receiving for 100+yds, passing for 350+yds, etc.)

There is also an IR spot for any players that get hurt during the season but have a chance to return later. That way if you drafted someone highly and they get hurt early, you can keep them on your team if they have a chance at coming back; without taking up a bench spot.
FYI - You set up the draft on Eastern Time. I was going to use that to my advantage, but everyone else auto-drafting probably wouldn't help me that much...

I'm out of town starting Thursday, so I'm gonna need to back out of hanging out tomorrow so I can get some family time. I'll try to get in remotely from home, though.
I believe Wi-Fi is off at club. If we are still doing draft tomorrow, everyone should plan on bringing some kind of hot spot or plan on using their phone.

I was planning on trying to multitask tonight and finish up a couple batches of Gose while also drafting, so Roots is likely out for me. I can draft remotely though.

I was just there kegging some beers and I don't think it is (based solely on the fact I saw the wifi with a question mark on my phone, indicative that it's asking me to sign in somewhere), but I wasn't paying too much attention.
I think we are back internet-wise at the brew house guys. I was able to successfully connect to the camera which would inidicate that the internet is back online. I plan on being at the brewhouse and drafting still.

No, no issues there. I mean, we are all logging in online from somewhere so it don't matter if it's brewhouse or your house. However, you won't get to hear my drunken witty banter about every shitty pick that everyone else makes....so there is that.

I can't make it tonight either and I have to work. HOw do I set it to autodraft? Or, will it automatically pick for me if I don't choose in time?
It will auto pick for you if you don't pick in time for your first pick and then set you to autodraft for the rest of the draft. If you have any time to login and take a look you can always unset auto draft and start drafting. I think they have a mobile app you can do it from(if yours is the kind of work where you get some free time)
You can also set pre draft rankings of players and I believe an auto draft strategy such that if a ranked player of yours is available it will draft them, though I have never done that myself.
Yeah, I have my autodraft strategy set. I just didn't know if I had to set it to autdraft or if it automatically does it.
I won't be able to access the draft until after it's over. I have a sales call at 6 and it could easily take 90-120 minutes or more. If I'm done earlier, I'll hop on the mobile app.
