Does anyone here have an acoustic guitar they are neglecting that I might be able to borrow for a little bit? Trying to float my daughter into non-school-band music but like children are wont to do, she is fleeting and I would prefer to not have to sink too much money into something she might not attach to. I would make sure the instrument is well cared for.
Would be a few month loan, payable in beer, if desired.
TIA,
Kyle
Not really what you are looking for, but I have an electric w/ amp that I dont really use.
Cool - I'll definitely keep it in mind if nothing else turns up. Worst case, she gets back to her Scandanavian roots and learns speed metal.
Thanks!
I have two and you can borrow one for a couple of months. I'll give you the six-string, its a vintage (1962) Guild. Its got a lot of dings and scratches, but its pretty sweet. I'll need to put some new strings on it, extra lights to help her fingers out as she develops callouses, then will bring it to the brewhouse for you. I was thinking of going to the meeting Sunday afternoon because of the budget stuff, so could bring it then.

Jim, can I have it instead?
B^)
That's awesome Jim, thanks.
We'll stop by Sunday - I unexpectedly have her this weekend so can't stay for the meeting, but definitely appreciate everything! I can give you some cash for strings if you'd like.
If you can't make it on Sunday, I can leave it upstairs for you.

Hi Kyle - not sure how old your daughter is - If a full size guitar proves unweildly, I have a 3/4 sized Fender acoustic, but it's not as cool as Jims '62 Guild.
Jim - I'll let you know via messenger what my Sunday plans are prior to the meeting.
Ben - She's 12, but 5'4" and all limbs. I think a normal one should work just fine...thanks!
Matt, my other instrument is a Martin 12 string, if you want to borrow that ; ) At one time in my live, before beer brewing, music was my primary avocation.
