Registration for the Square Kegs' 2018 Winterbrew Homebrew Competition in Chicago, IL is now open. You are invited to submit your entries, as well as volunteer as a judge or steward. The key dates are:

• Entry Registration Window: November 24th, 2017 – January 5th, 2018
• Bottle Drop-off Deadline: January 5th, 2018
• Judging: Saturday, January 20th, 2018

There is a 300-entry cap, so be sure to enter early. Empirical Brewing is pairing up with Square Kegs this year and offering a shot at getting your beer brewed at their facility and entered into this year's Great American Beer Fest under the Pro-AM competition. We'll award first, second, and third place Best of Show awards during judging, all of which will get brewed on Empirical's pilot system and served at the brewery. The final winner will then be decided based on people's choice feedback. Sour, Brett, barrel-aged, or beers with ingredients or processes outside Empirical's production capabilities will be excluded from the Best of Show finalists.
