Hey Chaos Members! We have been asked by the head brewer of Goose Island Brewhouse, Jon Naghski, to brew and showcase our great homebrew for the upcoming 2018 Goose Island Stout Fest. It should be a really fun night with a bunch of great breweries, and a coveted trophy awarded to the favorite beer, judges by anyone attending the event. If you would be interested in brewing a stout or porter for the event please reply to this thread or message me directly. The beers need to be ready to go by April 8th. I know it’s a quick turn around but I know we can make it happen.
I’ll be brewing for this on Monday if anyone would like to join. Those who I’ve already talked to I have you down for your beers already no need to post here.
I have two barrel aged, RIS... a rye and bourbon. Both in pony kegs and ready to go. I’m in.
I could turn around a stout in that time if you are still looking for people
We have beers, but could always use more! Go for it.
I was hoping to grab a ticket to the fest with a friend. He was able to snag one, I was not. (Sold out in like 20-30 seconds) Are there any volunteer opportunities to pour or such? Otherwise, does anyone have an extra ticket?
Thanks in advance!
Edit: I was able to get a ticket
Hi Phil, unfortunately we were only provided with two comps for pouring at the event and those have already been assigned. Glad you were able to get a ticket!!
Thanks to everyone that has reached out to brew for this or already have the beer ready to go. I need to have our beers submitted to Goose by the March 30th. I need your Beer Name, ABV and Description.
