Entry deadline for the Munton's/CHAOS Scottish Light Club-Only Competition is coming up - you need to register your entry in the online form here by this Sunday, April 15th. This is to make sure we've got the right number of judges lined up. Entries are down a little bit from recent club-only competitions, sign up if you want to get in on the competition.
For all the rules and information, here's the original announcement.
Questions? Ask Patty or Jim.
How many entries are there as of now, Jim?
Thirteen

Jim, my winning entry has changed to specialty category. should I submit another for or shoot you a message with the specialty ingredient?
Either works, Jeff. If someone has two entries, I'll know that one is a duplicate.

Jim, where in the brewhouse should we drop off the entries?
Entries should be left in the upstairs fridge. Two bottles, each with a label with your name on it (that's all the info we need) and rubber banded to the bottle. No tape or glue, please. Drop off your bottles no later than Wednesday April 25th.

Thank you for entering the Muntons/CHAOS Scottish Light (60 Shilling) club-only competition! We have a total of 15 entries, including three 'specialty' versions of the style. Three pairs of judges will be evaluating your beers, including a Muntons staff member, Ross Hughes, who is also a BJCP Certified Judge. Ross is driving in from Bloomington, Indiana to join us.
You will need to drop-off two bottles in the brewhouse by Wednesday April 25th. Please write your name on a piece of paper and rubber band it to each bottle. We don't need any information other than your name (will take the specialty ingredient information from the registration form) and please do not tape or glue your label to the bottle - use a rubber band. Please be sure your bottles don't have any identifying marks - like a code on the bottle cap or a label. No bombers - please use standard 12 ounce bottles.
The drop off area is the fridge upstairs in the education/grain room at the Brewhouse. If you registered and end up not submitting your bottles, for whatever reason, please let us know.
Judging will begin at 6 pm on Friday April 27th, upstairs, and you are welcome to gather downstairs at any time. We will order pizza and announce the winners - probably around 7:30 pm.
If you have any questions, please let us know. Cheers,
Patty McGuire
