A suburban HBS in St. Charles is doing their annual cherry order. I'm going to get some and go pick them up. They're excellent for beers and wine. I will pick yours up as well if you let me know.
Edit: Just called them and 100lbs are available immediately, with another 200 lbs coming in next week. I'm going to try and make it out there Saturday.
Does anyone want to split a batch? I need 5 lbs not a full 10 lbs.
From what I remember, they're a frozen solid chunk, Jay.
How many pounds of these do you guys think would be needed for four gallons of gueze?
I would think somewhere in the range of 1.5-2 lbs per gallon is where you'd want to go for a gueze
+ 1 to what Jay said.
Matt, I called in and added 10lbs, the guy at HBS said it works better if I pay you and you pay him, so LMK final total and I'll quickpay you...thanks
Reed
Jay, how about four pounds. I'll use six for my gueze.
Kelly had a family emergency and I wasn't able to get to the homebrew shop before it closed. I'll try and make it out there next weekend. I think the lesson here is that this is all Kelly's fault. /s
I'll be heading there tomorrow morning for cherries. I've got 20#, and Jay, Reed each have 10#. If anyone else wants some, or anything from the HBS, PM me here or @ me on slack. Thanks.
Cherries delivered, they're in the back freezer. Quickpay or PayPal to matthew.omura@gmail.com
Matt are all the cherries spoken for or did you buy extras?

They're all spoken for. You can reach out to them if to see if they have more. Another option is cherry concentrate.
Thanks Matt
