I met with Lallemand's Midwest rep, Eric, at the brewhouse tonight. Suffice to say, after a tour with your charming president, he's a fan. Like Munton's, they're looking to become more involved with the homebrew community. Eric would like to partner with us in our educational efforts, provide sponsorships, and by donating yeast or other TBD stuff to the club.
To get us started, he will be joining us for the October 9th meeting to do a presentation on wild yeast. Guess what Lallemand now has packaged in 11 gram packets... Lacto!! There may even be samples at the meeting.
In the mean time, there's a bunch of Lallemand swag on the front bar. Please help yourselves to whatever.
You are “The Deal President!” Sounds very cool.
I've used their West Coast Ale, Nottingham, and Windsor yeasts repeatedly. If they are willing to give us a supply of West Coast, that is a good substitute for the US-05 we carry upstairs.

I think that could be a very real possiblilty in the near future. He was impressed with our mini-inigredients store upstairs.
Jeff makes the best deals. Everyone agrees. MCGA!
