Hi CHAOS. I stopped by today and kegged a couple beers. On my way out the garbage door wouldn’t close. After I pressed the button and got out of the way, it would stop at various stages during its descent and go right back up. This happened many etimes until I gave up and manually closed it from the inside and left out the front and locked the door using the key. Those instructions are in the door code section of this site. Does anyone know what’s wrong with the garage door?

Garage door issues
Usually means something (a board, a bag, a chair,...) is too close to the door and as the door closes a shadow moves across the sensor and it thinks it's a child and tries not to crush her....we jjust need to not store things near the door sensors
Doors fixed and keypad is working fine now...
I think it may have been a sunlight on the sensor thing for you John.
I cleaned off the lenses and realigned them and hooked the door back to the traveler and put the key back
Garage door closed fine for me. Thanks, Reed!
It was definately the sensors (they're located at the bottom by the tracks on both sides of the door. If that happens next time John, just try to line them up so they're pointed at each other (sometimes they get bumped).
Thanks Reed for fixing it!
Thanks Reed for fixing the issue and for everyone else’s help/advice!
