The thermometer is not working correctly. Rich tried switching out the probes, but that didn't help. I'll attempt to replace the batteries tomorrow, which will hopefully solve the issue. If you are brewing today or tomorrow, please be prepared to use another means of temperature measurement.

Thermometer
I think we should buy a backup + backup probe (even if the batteries do end up solving the problem). That thing is bound to go to thermometer heaven sometime in the near future.
Thoughts?
Agree. It won't hurt to have one on the bench. I'll get the details today and purchase a new one.
New batteries didn't work, so we're going to try a new probe on Sunday.
John Gammal lent me his digital thermometer and said to leave it out for the time being. I left it on the shelf above ours.
He would like it back, please be nice to it :)
So, I can order a back-up/replacement thermometer for $154. What do you guys think? I feel like it's worth having another on hand.

I highly suggest and approve a backup.
Thermometer has been ordered and is on the way. As an added bonus, we received a free gift!
I always thought our trivet game was weak af.
Thanks, Jeff

I dropped off the thermometer this afternoon. I didn't have time to set it up, so left it on the bar. Please feel free to get iui t going if you're brewing this weekend. If not, I can do it in Monday while brewing my first place tropical stout.
