Co-host needed for Cervaza De Mayo party (May 11th)
Bill, thanks for taking this on!! We've scheduled Cerveza de Mayo on Saturday, May 11th.
Co-hosting this party is a great way for newer members to become more involved with the club. Please remember that hosting the party doesn't mean you'll be left alone to do it all by yourselves. Other club members will provide support along the way.
For those of you who missed the meeting last night, we had a lengthy discussion about the lack of volunteers for some of our parties. Having the same eight or nine people run the parties is not sustainable. Basically, if we do not have a full volunteer list two weeks before the party date, the party will be cancelled.
It's important to remember that, while we all pay membership dues, this is a non-profit, so everyone volunteers their time to make all the cool stuff we do possible.
