The beer gods have smiled upon me and I was lucky enough to be accepted to present my packaging seminar at this year's Homebrewcon in Nashville, TN! I am both pumped and anxious to represent CHAOS on the National stage!
That said, during the next month or so, I will be dialing in what I want to talk about (I have to distill everything to about 45 minutes' worth of time) and begin to form it into a comprehensive presentation plan - that's where the rest of CHAOS comes in. I'll be seeking your feedback as I 1) host the packaging workshop again in the next month or so, this time in a hopefully more demonstrative manner and 2) closer to June, do at least 1, if not 2 "dress" rehearsels of the actual talk itself.
Also, I am hoping to get some club feedback on some beers (seminars are much better attended when beer is being served) and gathering some semi-empirical data on some different things, so look for some tastings at club meetings (probably starting in March, I might have something to go by Feb.)
Also, I'm going to be hoping to use some of our awesome members and CHAOS street-cred to possibly run some experiments on dissolved CO2 & O2 at the homebrew level. This is going to require connections to a brewery that 1) has a dissolved gas meter and 2) has the time to measure samples/let me use it. This is just a want, not a need, but homebrewers are nerds and I think it would add a nice bit to the presentation.

PS Are you going to have to brew like, 20 gallons of beer to serve at this?
Thanks fellas. I'll probably have to brew at least 30. They are going to give me more information down the line. The brewing part shouldn't be terrible - two turns of the ToP, just like a real brewery - it's the bottling 15 gallons that might be not so fun.
