Wanted to float the idea of a FeBruery BYOB dinner where we meet-up at a Chicago BYOB establishment and each person or couple brings a Bruery bottle to share.
When: Wednesday Feb. 26th (...because it kinda has to be in February to make the theme work)
Where: Manee Thai, 1546 Chicago Ave, Chicago, IL 60605
Time: 7pm
not sure if I'll be able to make it, but wanted to mention that Manee Thai on Chicago Ave (near Ashland) is BYOB, pretty good, and never crowded.
It's definitely not as good as Sticky Rice (the old one at least), but it would be much easier to get a table there for a big group on a Friday
Already have dinner plans but definitely a good idea. Agreed with Jamie on the Manee Thai. Would be easier to get a spot there for a group on a Friday than a lot of other places.
Sadly my little sister is coming into town and I think we have plans, but I think this is an awesome idea!

damn got to work night shift that night. This is an awesome idea though. Another suggestion would be pot pan in wicker park. Great food and byob. Since everyone seems to have plans that weekend, maybe making it during the week would be better.
