We're moving Tuesday Brewsday to Saturday, Nov 2nd to coincide with Learn to Homebrew Day! Come celebrate the greatest hobby with us!

Tuesday Brewsday is our monthly Open House and group brew session. New members and Non-members are welcome and encouraged to join! Come see what brewing at CHAOS is like! Feel free to help as little or as much as you'd like, or just hang out and enjoy some homebrew.

Here's the recipe (for 5 gallons):

  • Target OG = 1.064
  • Target FG = 1.012
  • IBUs = 53
  • Mash @ 152
  • 60 min boil

 

MALT

  • 2-Row - 11.5 lbs
  • Wheat Malt - 1 lb
  • Cara 20 - 12 oz
  • Munich - 12 oz
  • Flaked Oats - 8 oz
  • LATE ADDITION - Cane Sugar - 25 oz

 

HOPS

  • 60 mins - Bravo - 1 oz
  • 5 mins - Amarillo - 1 oz
  • 0 mins - Ahtanum - 1 oz
  • Whirlpool (15 mins) - Ahtanum - 1 oz
  • Whirlpool (15 mins) - Amarillo - 1 oz
  • Dry Hop (5 days) - Citra - 3 oz

 

YEAST

  • Omega British Ale I (Whitbread), or another high attenuating yeast

 

OTHER

Guava dose: 125 ml of Amoretti guava flavoring for 5 gallons
