Brewery off-flavor training course on Monday, August 29th

Hey everyone

I just want to give a quick reminder about this, as we still have seats available. If you have any questions I'll be at the guild meeting tomorrow

We’re hosting a brewery off-flavor training course on Monday, August 29th at the Cicerone Certification Program offices at 4043 N. Ravenswood in Chicago. We’ll be going over 15 brewery production off flavors in a class geared toward brewery staff looking to expand their flavor identification and beer quality assessment tasting capabilities.

It’s a one-day training course from 10am- 6pm where you'll be exposed to and drilled on the 15 common beer off flavors included in our Taste Panel Training KitThe class itself is divided into three tasting sessions and you'll get at least two exposures to each of the off flavors. Lunch will be provided.

Flavors covered: acetaldehyde, acetic, butyric acid, chlorophenol, diacetyl, DMS, ethyl acetate, 4-ethyl phenol, geosmin, H2S, isoamyl acetate, isovaleric, lactic acid, mercaptan, and metallic.
