Dry Airlocks Beware!
Good news and bad news. The good news is, the fermentation room is getting full even with our new shelving! We welcome the additional brewing. The bad news, it looks like several fermenters may have been forgotten about.
I’m writing to give a heads up before we remove the fermenters that fall under the following categories:
-
Dry Airlock
-
No Name / No Date (WITH YEAR)
-
Visual signs of (possible) contamination
We’ll give you to the 30th of March (2018) to either attend to your fermenter or write more information on your fermenter tag. As a reminder, there’s guidance on the front of the fermentation room as far as the required information to put on your tag.
The following people need to either respond to this email or attend to their fermenter. Otherwise the fermenter will be disposed of.
August K. - Lassin
Josh S. - Flanders Red
Elliot B. - Imperial Red Ale
Jeremy B - Melomel
Eric P - No info at all
Reino E - IPA
Alex M - Sour Leftovers
Grant ? - APA
Adam Gross - Hard Lemonade
SRW Jamie P - ?
Messaged Jamie Phelps. Adam gross is not a member anymore - i did message him about his carboy a month or more ago.
Yeah, Eric Padilla is not coming back for that.
Sorry about that one it’s definitely garbage ill toss it next time I’m there.
Sorry about that - the last month snuck away from me. I'm going to come by tomorrow to take care of it.
I hate to be that person but can I snag a carboy or two if the are forgotten/left behind. Not if the actually belong to someone who is going to continue using them of course
Hey Bianca. Only one of those fermenters that hasn't been "claimed" is glass (the rest are plastic and I wouldn't advise re-claiming one of those). I already cleaned up said glass carboy put it on the shelving and labeled it "CHAOS Fermenter" with blue duct tape.
If it's available when you're there feel free to fill it up with your goods!
