My name is Don and I am the Marketing Director for Beer Dogging LLC. We are coordinating the home brew competition for the Illinois Pro-Am Brew Championship that will be held this fall and are looking to spread the word. Please feel free to forward to anyone in your home brew club. The competition will be coordinated by beer author Marty Nachel with the goal of providing detailed feedback to those that enter. About the Competition
The Illinois Pro-Am Brew Championship will be a statewide, multistage home brew event. Home brewers will submit samples for judging in late July to be judged by industry professionals where finalists will be selected. Finalist home brewers will work with professional brewers and have their beers produced in a professional brewery. These beers will be served at the Ale Harvest Fest in Westmont on October 11, 2014. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample these beers and cast their vote for the champion. Once the champion is crowned, they will begin to work with a local brewery to have their beer produced for distribution in the local market.
