The 2016 Schooner Homebrew Championship will be held soon in Racine, WI!
This contest has attracted entrants from all over the US the past eleven years, and we are gearing up to make this one the best one yet. Our list of sponsors and prizes is growing weekly, so check it out more than once.
Judging will take place over the period from September 1st to September 12th, with the places and prizes, (to those entrants that also attend GLBF), being awarded at Great Lakes Brewfest on September 17th. Prizes will be mailed to those winners not in attendance at GLBF and unable to pickup from Hop To It.
Participation in the Schooner Homebrew Contest as judge or steward earns a ticket to the Great GLBF event, along with lots of great prizes and swag. In the event you cannot sponsor, judge, steward, or place an entry in this event, we urge you to tell fellow brewers about it and get them to enter their favorite brew(s). Entries are capped at 700.
The last day for regular Schooner contest entries will be August 28th.
