Can we bottle in different format than 12 oz brown bottles due to carbonation? I'm thinking 16 ozGrolsh...

Matt, that's a good idea, but

Matt, that's a good idea, but some people have already bottled for the competition, so we can't do it this time around. We should definitley keep this option in mind for future comps that include a highly carbonated beer style.

You can carbonate a 12oz

You can carbonate a 12oz bottle to 3.0-3.2 volumes without worry.

At least I don't worry. But this is also why I super-nerd it with the whole weighing the beer thing.

The Saison I had in Drunk Monk was 3.0 and I bottled that back in September.
