Emily at Lo-Rez reached out to us about having a CHAOS table at Lo-Rez's Anniversary Party on Saturday June 9th, 1pm - 8pm. It will be set up outside, in tents. Lo-Rez has invited other breweries to serve but I believe we're the only homebrew club.
Hugh and I are going to brew an IPA and serve it in a cask with fresh hops thrown in - we've done this at homebrew festivals before and its been a hit, very fresh and distinctive. Would anyone like to join us? I think kegs or bottles are fine. I expect this will be a chill event and a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Let me know if you're interested in representing CHAOS.

I could come up with something nice and refreshing for this
I will see if I can brew soon but if not, I am always up for helping/pouring/setting up.
Sounds good, Nick and Americo. Americo, you could do a double batch of the Sorachi Ace Saison you're brewing for the barrel project. In any case, come hang with us - should be a pleasant way to spend a Saturday afternoon in June.

I'd love to get involved. I'm sure I'll have some beer to donate as well.
New here (but not to brewing) but I would love to offer up a batch of fruited Berliner Weisse. Great middle of June beer. Just gimme the word.
I'd like to do something. Lo rez is on of my favorite spots to hang out
Ok, I think that's more than we'll need LOL. Here's the lineup:
I think five beers is a lot for this event, I really don't know how big its going be, its not a festival. If you want to come hang out and serve beer but not bring beer, let me know. If you are bringing beer, let me know what the style is asap.
Also, since I'm doing a cask ale, I don't need a jockey box and gas. Are you guys planning on bringing bottles or kegs?

I'll bring a keg. I'll either brew a APA or a fruited blonde ale
Great, im excited for this. I’m thinking I’m going to do a mango milkshake ipa
Steve, would you be able/willing to be in charge of bringing and setting up one of the club's jockey boxes and getting gas? If one of the others wants to help you with that (especially the cleaning/sanitizing before and after) that would be great, too.
I'll take care of bringing and setting up a table, tent, chairs, and signage.

Sure Jim. I have a pump I can clean lines with and a 20lbs co2 tank so i can do that pretty easily
Great, I'll leave that in your capable hands, Steve.

Hey Jim,
a lot of people jumped on this and I would still be up for pouring but if the people who brew would prefer to be there, I will graciously bow out...but I will still go to the block party.
Nick, Eric, Justin and Americo -
Emily got back to me and said they want to limit us to bringing two beers. I think she hadn't anticipated that we might bring six beers. FYI, she also hadn't thought through the legalities of serving homebrew to the public either. In any case, both Steve and I are patrons there, go there regularly (its three blocks from my home), so we're going to brew and serve. You'd be welcome to join us, hang and drink beer. My apologies for this - I should have asked her if she thought through what she wanted, but I assumed she had. But, this stinks and I'm sorry.

Meh, it's no problem and I will still be there.
Cool, Americo. Come hang with Steve, Hugh and me.
