Just a heads up. Did some bottling last night and noticed the wifi was not working. When you tried to connect a message popped up saying there was something immediate that needed to happen to our ATT account and then would not allow internet access.

This happened a couple weeks ago and I got the wifi going by restarting the router.
Three engineers were in a car that wouldn't start. The first, a mechanical engineer, took a look at the engine, adjusted a few things but the car still wouldn't start. The second, an electrical engineer, looked at the battery and adjusted the starter, but the car still wouldn't start. The third, a computer engineer, said "Everyone get out of the car. Now everyone get back into the car." And the car started.
Nerdy humour, allegedly.

If it happens again, can someone post a picture of the error message?
I can also ask Ken about giving me permissions to the router if it keeps having problems; I'm going to guess it has a remote management feature which might be helpful.
Never heard of this error message before or any issues with the new router.
The new wifi & router set-up is intended to make a 30 second restart extremely user friendly. There is a surge protector setup on the wall nearest the brew house in the Walkway of Lagering. Just flip the switch, wait 30-60 seconds and then turn the surge protect back and both the modem and router will have been reset.
Ken, this happened last month and restarting both the modem and router fixed the issue. Mike Struck restarted them tonight, but that didn't fix the issue.
Last night, it re-directed my browser to AT&T after trying to connect and said that there was an issue with the account. I don't who has the login info, but they may want to log in and see what the issue is.
It works intermittently. Restarted WiFi and still nothing.
Message reads: your account needs immediate attention. Log in or call 800.321.2000
Thanks for the heads up gentlemen...Mark Walters has been notified and is calling AT&T to see what is going on.
Here's the message that pops up when trying to get online (if you need it)
I just logged into the router at the brewhouse remotely and it is saying it is connected to the internet. I was also able to log in to the Nest entryway camera and it is working fine as well.
Kris or Brock...any ideas what could be going on here?
Looks like this is a pretty common error for Att, according to other reports I've found online. Sounds like it would be good for someone to call and report that this is happening in error/intermintently.
On a side note, I find it pretty frustrating that ATT would forward an error in that way. That basically means they take any web traffic you are generating, and redirect it to a website that has that error for you to read... kind of an invasive approach. And apparently another thing to mess up. Is RCN an option in that area?
Also, is any sort of filtering set up on the router? If someone is using it to download Copywrite material, or worse, it could create an issue for owner of the account. This is a pretty easy thing we can filter on the router if we're worried about it. Or we could just log what sites are visited just for a monthly audit/check. Or maybe that's too extreme. I work in this kind of stuff, so my perspective might be off.
WiFi was down tonight. I tried restarting it, but it did not seem to come back up.
Were you using the ATT network & not the Chaos one? From what I've found the ATT one works better (password is on the wall near the fire extinguisher).
Yeah, the CHAOS one doesn't really work anymore, but the AT&T one works just fine.
