I see. Well, I will be at the open house on sat for a while. I can help some=

Mel and I are going to be there brewing on Saturday afternoon (she wants to try!), so I'm going to try and take a couple things to the finish line (the probes and the pegboard).
On that note, are we just putting the probes through the doors? Or are we coming in from somewhere else?
Dave and I had talked about running conduit for the probe wires and then putting a junction box with the mono mini jack plugs I bought behind the lagerator and the hot box. In the meantime, there just needs to be two runs of 2 conductor wire that can be spliced to the probes. There will likely need to be some minor calibration due to the additional wire, but that's relatively easy to do. And not strictly necessary just to get the hot box up and running.
Lucas, at this point we are just running the probe wires through the door.
On a related note, I'll be at the brewhouse pretty much the whole next weekend. Dave and I ran the wire from the EoJ to the outlet by the ferm room heater/AC unit, so I will get the ferm room operational on the 2-stage controller next weekend.
Not yet. I need to run wires from the control box for the sensor, and then we need to buy a heater for it.

Oh... my... god. Why haven't we done this? http://thechive.com/2013/09/17/guys-rig-up-buddies-plumbing-with-beer-wh...

ok, are the probes and the jacks somewhere in the brewhouse? And do we have any conduit?
Oh... my... god. Why haven't we done this? http://thechive.com/2013/09/17/guys-rig-up-buddies-plumbing-with-beer-wh...
The probes are in the Enclosure of Justice, and I believe the jacks are as well. Conduit I have no idea.
There is some speaker wire in the office. I belive someone said that would work
On a related note, I'll be at the brewhouse pretty much the whole next weekend. Dave and I ran the wire from the EoJ to the outlet by the ferm room heater/AC unit, so I will get the ferm room operational on the 2-stage controller next weekend.
Lucas, if you're going to do anything, I can certainly help. I plan to be at the brewhose from about noon 'til 4:00 p.m.
I'll be brewing/hosting the open house until 3:00 on Saturday, so can help out when I have a free moment.
