How is everyone on Chicago?
I have an issue with my kegerator. My beer comes out too fast, I get half a glass of foam. I have the beer carbed at 12psi and and that is what it is set at currently. I don't want to lower the psi because then the beer won't stay carbed at 12psi.
I've read that increasing the length of the liquid lines can help alleviatethis. Does anyone have this issue?
I know I can buy flow regulating taps, but I don't want to spend that much yet if the issue can be solved by 2-3m length of liquid line.

This happened to me as well, and more than likely line length is the culprit. What's the currrent length of your beer line? And I'm assuming it's standard 3/16" inner diameter beer line?
Rough estimate, you'll need 8-10ft (2.4 - 3 meters) in order to have enough pressure in the line to keep the CO2 in solution. There are many line length calculators out there, but I like this one:

I have 14ft per line in my kegerator, but it's a touch bigger than others. I hope this helps!

I carb mine at 20psi and serve at around 3-4psi because I have no line, the taps are on the posts. I've never lost carbonation noticeably, but my kegs generally don't sit around long
