Reverse osmosis water filter

I have a 5 stage reverse osmosis system that i want to donate to the club but i dont want to hook it up.  If anyone wants to volunteer all it takes is piercing pressure fitting into a free copper line.

It has a 2.5 gal collection tank and i think filters around 1gal/ hr after that through its own faucet.

Thanks for offering the RO

Thanks for offering the RO filter, its a nice piece of equipment. This would be on its own end source waterline correct?  RO water is not a great thing for most brewers as it strips out to many important minerals.  People who dont treat their water would be worse of with RO water than with straight up city water. But its great for very pale beers like a Bohemian Pils where it is hard to modify Chicago water to fit the very light minearl profile.

For most beers the carbon filter we have  is exactly what we need, it just strips out the chlorin. But it is also not hooked up.

Any update on getting the

Any update on getting the water filter hooked up? Is it broken or just needs someone to install? Think it was a useful and valuable piece of equipment at last place.

Yes its stand alone not

Yes its stand alone not strong enough to power the whole brew house.  When i had it hooked up it fits under a kitchen sink and taps into the water line, then has a seperate faucet to go through.

Maby we can hook it up to the middle sink and have a way to fill a carboy by placing it in the sink overnight.

Im just starting to experiment and read about water midification and im sure others have a better grasp to use this type of water with success and hopefully it will promote others to kearn more as well.
