Hello Everyone,
During the weekends I work at Bar Pastoral in East Lakeview. While the restaurant typically focuses on wine and cheese, the month of March is dedicated to "Chicago Craft Beer". In addition to a special cheese and beer flight, there are a few events that I thought people may be interested in. I've copied and pasted the announcement from the beer/wine purchaser and you can find that message below. Should be a good time with great food and drinks. Feel free to reach out with any questions.

March 12th
Keg Party with Ale Syndicate and Journeyman Distillery. Many of you were
around for when we tasted through the barrel samples of Journeyman's
Featherbone bourbon which they bottled and gave us the barrel that we
selected. Ale Syndicate has been aging their Richie Stout in that barrel
since we handed it off after the beer dinner in August. We will be tapping
the kegs and offering tastes of the Featherbone Bourbon, the regular Richie
stout as well as the barrel aged version at the event while supplies last.
People from both the brewery and the distillery will be on hand and ya'll
should be too!

We are doing a special Afternoon Explorations tasting at BP from 3-4. Lydia
and I are working on a cheese pairing seminar with Jared from Moody Tongue.
Jared focuses on food friendly beer and this should be a very exciting
event. I'll have more details after we select the cheese and beers with
Jared tomorrow.
