CHAOS Initiatives (please read!)

I was going through our old Google Docs and found one from a year ago listing our "Initatives" and I got a bit nostalgic. I'm proud of what we've accomplished!

In addition to all the monthly Hoppy Hours, Open Houses, Wing Nites, and classes as well as the major seasonal events we have pulled off and our continued success at Bell's Hoptacular Homebrew Challenge, we have tackled a bunch of initatives which were mere ideas just 12 months ago: membership cards with discounts around town; converting the burners to natural gas (so we don't have to use propane indoors); acquiring some kind of regular/proper grain removal for all our spent grain; building an automated grain mill; finding a new brewhouse; a weekly newsletter/blog. And, we're tackling more and more!

Every now and again something makes me consider how fateful it is and how fortunate we are that so many talented, enthusiastic, creative, well-connected, handy, dedicated, resourceful, and cool homebrewers come together under our roof; and I think this whenever someone steps up to share their know-how and expertise with the club in some small way, shape, or form.

To which end, I'm reviving the "CHAOS Initiatives" Google Doc. Click on the link and share with the rest of us any ideas you have for CHAOS - anything at all!

You guys rock! I love being a part of CHAOS and I can't wait to see what the next 12 months at CHAOS has in store!

Cheers,

Jim
