Chaos Podcast

Have been getting into more Podcast lately and thought popped in my mind. Has Chaos ever thought about hosting a weekly podcast? Between the wealth of knowledge at the club and our guest in the industry that come to the club we have plenty of material. Not sure if we'd want to impose on the band but they do have great audio equipment already set up. If not we can get some cheap stuff set up in our space upstairs. I think it can turn into revenue for the club or at least a great way to reach out and get exposure for new memberships and parties.

Thoughts?

This could be something cool,

This could be something cool, but we would need:

1) to make the podcast different from the other beer podcasts already in existence in a very limited market

2) come up with a topic every week (bi weekly or monthly might be more practical)

3) find members who have the time to keep up with a regularly scheduled show and can keep it entertaining

Well I think where Chaos can

Well I think where Chaos can be different is the variety of knowledge at its disposal. Ciders, lagers, stouts, neipas, meads, hopless, bjcp strict, radical experiments,water-profilers, adjuncts. We pretty much have people well versed in every field of booze making. Plus we have the ability to follow people threw part of their brew day on a podcast.

Episode topics can vary widely. I think one that can be interesting is discussing how someone came up with a recipe. So like Boolish and Jay just won Thunderdome. How did they come up with that recipe? What trials and errors did they go through to get it to where it was?

Any other podcast listeners see ways we can do this?

Make the rounds of food and

Make the rounds of food and beer podcasts as guests. (Sporkful, Splendid Table, Etc. . . ) People who listen to food, wine and beer podcasts are always looking for more podcasts because you run out from time to time when there are no new podcasts. And you get ideas for new podcasts by listening to guests on the existing podcasts. I'm sure there are a ton of beer podcasters that would be interested in learning about our club and from there build an audience.
