Could we use a "grain silo" or a cylindrical container?

I know someone who is trying to get rid of 5 food safe, thick plastic fermenters (for free).

These were meant for wine & were being used for other purposes & there's two 2" holes in each of them. They can be plugged but it would leak with liquids. I was thinking it might be useful for dry storage?

I know the club was thinking about having some ingredients on sight. This might be a good solution for storing a whole boatloat of 2 row or something similar.

This is just a thought. They need to get rid of these this week so I figured I'd throw it out there to see what you guys think. They're pretty large (110 gallon capacity, 4'8" tall x 2'4" wide). We'd also have to build a stand for them.

I'm super anxious to get into group buys and storing grain, but the holes in those containers look like a big headstart for rats.
