The manager at Woodie's Flat contacted me about doing something with CHAOS for Craft Beer Week. Anyone have suggestions or ideas?

Craft Beer Week with Woodie's Flat
Drink all of their beer.
But seriously, we should do something like a tap takeover. Or pick a region of beer and do a tasting?
..spitballing..
My only suggestion is that we don't compete with the Beer Bistro local beer/local spirits pairing I'm organizing on Wednesday the 21st.
A tasting would be cool. They have a nice upstairs back area where we can hold it. Maybe get some of our newly-minted BJCP judges over there to talk about some different beers. Maybe a brewery/brand rep as well? A sort of "how to taste beer" class?
spitballin' here, too...
Yeah, I was kinda thinking along the lines a how-to-taste-beer type of thing.
We do get 10% off, so sure could give it a shot at drinking all their beer....
'nother spitball: maybe just an informal, "All the things you wanted to know about beer but were afraid to ask." People arrive, write their question(s) on note card(s) and throw them in a box, we pull out cards one by one and discuss/answer their questions (of course drinking and talking about beer throughout!).
Jim...Are you planning a CHAOS event with Beer Bistro or is that something seperate?
No, the "CHAOS/Beer Bistro Craft Beer Chasers" event that's already on the calendar for Wednesday the 21st is the one I'm talking about.
We're doing it that week specifically because it's CCBW.
