We have an opening for a brewer to join the Belgian Golden Strong project in the Koval gin barrel. In December, the third beer in that barrel, a Saison, won a medal at the Happy Holidays competition in St. Louis, in a category with 29 entries. It's a great barrel.
You would need to be able to brew the recipe provided by the end of January. Reply below if you'd like to join this group brew.
I'd love to join this project, Jim! Haven't been part of a CHAOS barrel in a while and BGSA is one of my faves.
Great, Kyle - you're in!
I learned yesterday that we have a second open brewer slot on this barrel - anyone else want to join us? You'd be a part of a fun brewer crew - Jeff Whelpley, Kyle Nordquist, Americo Ochoa, Bob Donahue, and Hugh/me.

Cool, let me know the recipe when you can. I'll probably piggyback this into my next brew day on the 20th.
Keep an eye out for emails. I thought we'd resurrect a Belgian Golden Strong recipe from a beer we brewed a few years ago that won Gold in its category and Silver BOS at the Door County competition. Of course, with these beers, its all about the yeast and fermentation. I'm working on seeing if I can get us a big pitch of built up yeast.

Still have an opening for one more brewer for this barrel project.

Hi Jim, I'm doing a BGS for a sour project and I can double my recipe. Let me know if you still have a slot and how much beer you'll need me to contribute.

You're in, for five gallons, James.

Is there a recipe yet? Would like to brew this on Monday.
Coming in late on this tread. Do you still need someone

Kyle, I sent the recipe out this morning - you should have it in your emails
Jason, sorry but James just beat you to it. I'll try to remember you for the next time there is an opening on of my barrel projects, or maybe one of the other members who is running a barrel project might need a brewer.
