Hop Head Farms- Hickory Corners - Saturday, July 30, 2016

On Saturday, July 30th, 2016 Hop Head Farms and Pilot Malt House are teaming up to bring you a day of learning, fun, and socializing.  It's a 'first of its' kind event' where we showcase both the burgeoning hop industry and the barley/malting industry.

2pm-5pm: Tours/Education

·        Buses will transport attendees between Hop Head Farms and Michigan State University's Kellogg Biological Station where Pilot Malt House is performing barley variety trials.

·        Hop Head Farms personnel will provide an informative tour of their hop field and processing facility in Hickory Corners.  There will be an interactive display of hop varieties from Michigan and Europe, including experimental varieties.   

·        Pilot Malt House personnel will provide a tour of some special projects they're engaged in SW Michigan.

5pm-9pm: Socializing/Pure Fun

·        Food will be served from 5pm-7pm

·        Live Band will close out the night 7pm-9pm

·        Corn Hole Tournament - Best bring your 'A' game

·        All are welcome to bring beers to share
