Hey Everyone,
My wife Emily is hosting a charity event at Revolution brewing this Sunday. I know this is late notice, but for whatever reason it didn't occur to me to post anything on the forum until now. So if you are looking for something to do on Sunday night here is an option, and it helps a good cause. Below is an excerpt from an email she sent around.
As you may, or may not, know I lost my brother to MPS during the summer of 2009. It's only been a couple years since he passed, and the memories I have live on. One of my fondest memories was when Joe's childhood wish was granted by Make-A-Wish and we got the family vacation of a life time. DISNEYLAND!
In memory of my brother, I am running the Chicago Marathon in a 12 DAYS for Team Make-A-Wish. I have set a $5000 goal (55% of the way there!). I would love your help! Come have a few tasty bites, support a great cause, and enjoy award winning beer.
Revolution Brewing is hosting!! It's right off the Blue Line Stop.
Day: Sunday, September 30th
Time: 5 - 7 PM
Location: Revolution Brewing Brewpub- 2323 N Milwaukee Ave - Chicago, IL 60647
Cost: $30 - get your tickets here: http://teammawatrevbrew.eventbrite.com/
All profits from this event (projected to be over 50%) will be going to Make-A-Wish. Your admission ticket grants you access to the 2nd Floor Brewer's Lounge at Revolution Brewing. For TWO HOURS we will have an open tab to the FIVE core house beers and endless appetizers.
Anyone who brings a friend will get a special gift from me. Please get your tickets today! If you already have your tickets, please forward this email on to friends, co-workers, neighborhoods, and family. All are welcome to this event.
