Lager bottle conditioning

Can we use the new lager conditioning fridge for 4 week bottle conditioning of lagers? Or maybe the fridge beneath the bar?

I am going to brew an Oktoberfest for the Chaos party but will need a place to store the beer, preferrably below 60 degrees. My plan was 2 week primary, 2 day diacetyl, 4 week secondary, 2 week bottle conditioning in my closet (70-74 degrees), and then 4-6 week bottle conditioning in lagering fridge til party starts. I've been having problems with over carbonation on beer lasting over a month bottle conditioning in closet during summer and don't have refrigeration space to house it.

Hi Jay, due to space issues,

Hi Jay, due to space issues, there's a two week limit for the lager primary fridge. However, if you want to split the time to two weeks in the primary fridge, then another two weeks, before the party, in the ferm room, that's do able.

Cool. I'll keep an eye out on

Cool. I'll keep an eye out on the reservation sheet and see if people are using it to lager and if not hold some beer in there for the party till someone needs it.

What about the fridge behind bar? Is that fair game? Maybe split time between lager fridge and bar fridge

For now it's fair game, but

For now it's fair game, but at some point between now and Harvest Fest, we hope to have it serving beer.
