Yeah it's not a lot, but if every member of CHAOS goes to smile.amazon.com instead of amazon.com and every time the club buys something, we'd have generated quite a bit for the club.
Even if you did all your shopping on amazon.com before you check out if you switch over to smile.amazon.com it should save your cart. Nothing is different between the two sites except that Amazon gives us money.
There is usually a limitation on these charitable 'buyers' programs - like they won't send you a check for less than $25 or something. I don't remember Amazon's specifics, its been awhile since I looked it up.
But assuming the percentage has stayed the same since Mark's OP, one-half of one percent, that means for CHAOS to receive $50, CHAOS members would need to spend $10,000. LOL.
While 0.5% is dismal, I could easily see all CHAOS members combined having spent > $10,000 at amazon over the last year. Sad as it may be to supplement the wealth of Bezos but gosh dangit if it isn't super convenient.
And if we did, we'd get a princely $50 bucks out of it. I shop at Amazon too, but I really don't like these programs - its all marketing and almost no philanthropy
Sweet, thanks Mark!
I'm in. My previous charity just got a huge donation from Elon Musk so it doesn't need me any more

Just curious .. how much has CHAOS generated from these Amazon donations, on average?
