I brought a vacuum sealer to the brewhouse for members to use. If you open a package of hops and want to reseal them, it works for that. Or you can buy hops in bulk and then divide them up.
The unit is in the upstairs kitchen, to the left of the sink and by the microwave. It is plugged in and ready to go. I bought a large quantity of bags and they are behind the unit. Feel free to use them - if you use a lot and feel like reimbursing me, you can, but for a few bags, don't worry about it.
I wrote out simple instructions and they are taped to the unit. Basically, the only button you push is the on/off button. If you push any of the other buttons, the unit won't work - those are for other functions on the unit. Insert the bag in the opening until the unit starts vacuuming the air out. Leave it there, when the vacuuming is done there will be small delay and then it will heat seal the bag. Then remove it and turn the unit off. That's it.
Any questions or concerns, let me know.
Awesome, thanks Jim!
Thanks for the contribution, Jim!
