The migration is ongoing. Final testing began at 2:15 PM today with a few new changes implemented.
Account and content migration began around 4:00 PM with everything finalized around 4:30.
Email notifications for new accounts began around 5:00 PM. These will occur in batches of 140 users at a time due to limitations of our host, which will only let us send a limited number of emails every hour.

More accounts complete, the next round should be the last!
Oh... my... god. Why haven't we done this? http://thechive.com/2013/09/17/guys-rig-up-buddies-plumbing-with-beer-wh...
Migration of accounts is complete. I've also reconfigured the Ning site to give you a message to come here. If you have any feedback please let us know!

Is this the place to critique things or give comments or recommendations or report problems? Hope these are useful although you're probably aware already of all of them.
Here's a few things. The CHAOS sign in the upper left is driving me crazy, it should be water marked but instead occludes everything causing viewing and sometimes functional difficulties (by hiding links).
The simpsons duff watermark makes things hard to read.
This comment box is too small, is that just my browser?
The text is way too small.
The blue font for the links at the top looks bad.
Daniel,
Can you be more specific or give me a bit more info:
Thanks! Once you get back to me I'll be happy to take a look into all of this. If you'd like, feel free to send me all of the screenshots via email. Its lucas at chaosbrewclub.net. Thanks!

ha! So, turns out the whole problem was just that I was viewing it from work and I think due to security reasons it wasn't processing all the coding or something. What I was getting was a shitty fragmented version of the site. Now that I'm looking at it on my computer I really am wowed. It looks great and none of the things I mentioned above are actually problems! Kudos,
I love it when its easy!

Not sure if this is my internet acting up, but the new site seems to be a lot slower than the old one. Definitely looks nicer and is more functional, but just a lot slower for me the past few days.
I can never remember where we post errors either so I'm throwing an error and a suggestion in here.
(1) Nowhere on the site does it clearly list (a) where to post errors and (b) whom to contact about problems with processing membership orders, &c. Seeing as we're on a new website, people will invariably have problems and need to contact someone. We don't want them to simply give up and not join.
(2) I keep getting this error when I try to pay with "credit card" (NOT the "PayPal" radio button). Maybe others are having this problem, too.
Error message
Error: DPRP is disabled for this merchant.
Also, two more things:
(1) It doesn't give me the option to add/edit the title/subject of my post, it just grabs the first part of my first sentence.
(2) Site's unbearably slow for me. It took the better part of a minute for the previous comment to post.
On my work computer, which runs I.E & is the most recent Windows platform (i have no idea what that is, i think 8) the site looks incredibly elementary and old school. Like just straight up 1984. Many of the icons overlap, the drop down boxes don't work like they do on our Mac at home, & the forum is extremely hard to read due to the format issues. I also get a lot of "do you only want to view the information that was transferred securely" messages. Is this something on my end that I can fix, or is this on our end? I tried to take a screen shot but it won't work. Thanks Lucas!
Another data point: on IE 9 on my work computer (Windows 7), the site looks just fine.
I also experienced some performance issues this morning.
Another question: is it possible to quote another post when replying?

I added an issue tracker (In the menu Brewhouse -> Issues, not the best place, but I didn't have anywhere else that wouldn't disrupt the rest of the menu setup...). Please use that so I can track what's going on as its gotten a bit hard with all of the emails.

Lucas the site looks great!But... There is always but...But, when viewing the membership page when I go to the next page it automatically starts me on the bottom of the next page...
How does one add an event? I'm clicking all over the calendar and nothing's happening.
not finding the issue tracker under brewhouse, so I'll relay that evan's problem sounds exactly like the one I had at work, including the securely view notification. But also, I appear to also now to be viewing a barebones site at the moment at home on safari. But the overlapping on the forum isn't happening here like it was there.
