Dry Hopping w/ Dandelions

Hey guys I'm working on a dandelion honey kolsch brew.

After a week of fermentation I want to dry hop my primary with dandelion flowers. Do I need to sanitize the flowers first to ensure no contamination? If I give them a good rinsing will the alcohol and hops kill off everything?

I only used 1oz Vanguard for the full 1 hr boil.

You could pasturize them at

You could pasturize them at 160* for 15 minuites (add the liquid you cooked them in to the fermentor too)

Or, you could mash them up (food processor or fine dice with a knife), Add enough water so that it’s basically a thick liquid, then add 1 campden tablet per gallon of this liquid. Cover it and let it sit 24-48 hours. Then add it to secondary. The S02 in the Camppden tablets will kill all the bacteria.
