Anyone ever done this? Any tips? I'm going to give it a shot this weekend with some of the citra and amarillo whole leaf hops that I picked up, possibly with blackberries or blueberries added to my centennial pale ale. If you're unfamiliar with rhe process you basically pour beer over your Randall ingredients and then filter using the french press. They do it at the Dogfish pub and there's a bar/bottle shop in KC that does it as well. Thoughts, feelings, or dreams on the subject?

Randall Jr with french press
I'm confused. Do you do it on a per-beer basis? Or for a whole batch?
Per beer. I read up on people steeping hops for dry hopping though and adding the "tea" to your batch, so it can go both ways.
Sounds cool! Let us know how it goes/tastes.
I have had quite a few Dogfish Head brews through a randall, but the Coffee Press method is an interesting DIY method that should be very similar. I would imagine it would work, but that you might want to filter your beer after the coffee press depending on the size of the holes in your screen...but please post some pics!
